Skin Concerns

Start With Your Concern, Not a Treatment

Your skin is yours alone, so we begin where you are. Find the concern below that feels closest to what you notice, whether it sits on the surface of your complexion or reflects the natural signs of ageing. At Opulence Aesthetics in Seddon, Melbourne, care starts with a private consultation with Registered Nurse Nqobile Nhlebela, who listens first and builds a considered plan around your skin.

How this page works

We think it is more honest to begin with what you actually see in the mirror rather than with the name of a treatment. Your concerns sit in two groups below: Skin & Complexion and Skin Ageing. Choose the one that feels closest to your experience and you will find a calm overview of what it involves and how care might be approached.

  • Pick the concern that resonates most, even when more than one feels true.
  • Each concern page explains what we consider and how care usually begins.
  • Everything starts with a conversation, never a fixed prescription.

If you are not sure where you sit, that is entirely normal — a consultation is the right place to talk it through.

Skin & Complexion concerns

These concerns are about the surface, clarity and evenness of your skin: the things you notice day to day. For many of them, we can talk openly during your consultation about supportive in-clinic options and the right care at home.

  • Pigmentation and sun damage — uneven tone, sun spots and patches that build up over years in the Melbourne sun.
  • Acne and breakouts — active congestion, blemishes and the frustration of skin that will not settle.
  • Texture and tone — rough, uneven or congested skin that lacks a smooth, refined feel.
  • Dullness and dehydration — tired, flat or thirsty-looking skin that has lost its freshness.
  • Redness and rosacea — persistent flushing, sensitivity and visible reactivity.
  • Scarring — the lasting marks and texture left behind by past breakouts or injury.

Care for complexion concerns stays consultation-led. Nqobile assesses your skin in person before suggesting any approach, because what suits one person will not always suit another.

Skin Ageing concerns

These concerns relate to the natural changes that arrive with time: movement, structure and firmness. They are deeply personal, and we treat them with extra care.

  • Lines and wrinkles — the expression lines and creases that develop with movement and age.
  • Volume loss — a flatter, more tired look as natural fullness changes over time.
  • Laxity and sagging — skin that feels less firm or supported than it once did.

These are injectable-adjacent concerns, and our approach here is deliberately restrained. We don’t recommend or advertise specific advanced treatments online. Instead, care begins with a private consultation where Nqobile can assess your skin properly, talk you through your options in person and help you decide what, if anything, is right for you.

Why we begin with a consultation

Nqobile Nhlebela is a certified cosmetic nurse and Registered Nurse (AHPRA NMW0001572477) with 14 years of nursing experience, trained at Curtin University in Melbourne and now focused on aesthetic and skin care. That clinical grounding shapes how we work: carefully, honestly and one person at a time.

  • We listen to your concern and your history before suggesting anything.
  • We assess your skin in person, because most plans are well tolerated across most skin types, with individual factors discussed at your appointment.
  • You leave with a clear, considered plan and no pressure.

Our information here is designed with AHPRA and TGA guidance in mind, so what you read reflects a careful, consultation-first way of working rather than a promise about results.

Talk it through with us

Once you have a sense of your concern, the next step is simply a conversation. A consultation is where we look at your skin together, talk through what you are noticing and shape a plan that feels right for you, with no obligation to go further.

Frequently asked

I have more than one concern. Where should I start?

That is very common. Choose the concern that bothers you most as a starting point, then raise everything else at your consultation. Nqobile looks at your skin as a whole and can help prioritise what to focus on first, so you do not need to have it all worked out before you reach out.

Why don't you list treatments for lines, volume or laxity online?

These are injectable-adjacent concerns that deserve careful, in-person assessment. We don't recommend or advertise specific advanced treatments online. Care begins with a private consultation where Nqobile can assess your skin and explain your options properly, in keeping with AHPRA and TGA advertising guidance.

Do I need to know which treatment I want before booking?

Not at all. We start with your concern, not a treatment. Your consultation is where we talk about what you are noticing, assess your skin and shape a plan together. You are welcome to come in simply to understand your options and ask questions, with no pressure to proceed.

How do I get started at Opulence Aesthetics?

Choose the concern that sounds most like you, then request your consultation online or call us on 0468 031 803 in Seddon. You can also reach us on Instagram or Facebook. Your consultation with Nqobile is where we listen, assess your skin and discuss what suits you.

Consultation first. Always.
