Collagen threads are fine, dissolvable threads placed under the skin, designed to work with your skin’s own collagen response as they gradually break down. At our Seddon clinic in Melbourne they are offered only after a private consultation, and are considered for skin quality and early laxity as part of a wider plan.
What are collagen threads?
The threads we use are made of a dissolvable material that the body breaks down naturally over time. As they dissolve, they are designed to support the activation of your skin’s own collagen in the treated area — responses differ from person to person, and your nurse will be honest about what threads can and cannot do for you.
