Rejuran is a polynucleotide-based skin treatment and a registered Class III medical device (ARTG 412630) that we may discuss as part of a consultation-led plan for skin quality, the delicate skin around the eyes and the appearance of scarring. At Opulence Aesthetics in Seddon it is administered by Nqobile Nhlebela, Registered Nurse (AHPRA NMW0001572477), and only after a private assessment of your skin and suitability. What is Rejuran?
Rejuran is a sterile injectable gel containing sodium polynucleotide, placed into the skin by a trained health practitioner to support tissue repair and the appearance of the skin. It is registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration as a medical device (ARTG 412630). It does not add volume; it is used to support the quality and condition of the skin itself, which is why it is often considered alongside, rather than instead of, other skin treatments. At Opulence Aesthetics, treatment always begins with a consultation to confirm it suits your skin.
The three Rejuran treatments
- Rejuran Classic (2ml), $750: for the face, where people are looking to support the look of overall skin quality, texture and hydration.
- Rejuran Eye (1ml), $600: for the delicate skin around the eyes, where the look of fine texture, dryness and tired-looking skin is a common concern.
- Rejuran Scar (1ml), $600: for the appearance of acne-related and other scarring on the skin, often as part of a broader plan.

What to expect
Because Rejuran is an injected treatment, suitability, aftercare and recovery matter, so we talk everything through first. What to expect:
- usually a short course rather than a single visit, with sessions spaced a few weeks apart and the plan adjusted to how your skin responds
- a series of small injection points across the treated area; comfort options are discussed at your consultation
- some redness, swelling or small raised bumps at the injection points for a day or two is common, and bruising is possible; responses vary
- clear aftercare guidance and recovery information at your consultation, including sun protection and what to avoid in the first days
Who is Rejuran suitable for?
Rejuran is not right for everyone. It is derived from salmon DNA, so it is important to tell your nurse about any allergies, and certain skin conditions, medications, pregnancy and breastfeeding may make it unsuitable. As with any injected treatment there are risks, including bruising, swelling, infection and uncommon reactions, which are explained before anything goes ahead.
